Text2Note uses Polar.sh for user accounts and license key management. We do not store your personal information in our own databases. By creating an account, you agree to Polar.sh's terms and privacy policies in addition to ours.

4. Privacy and Data Collection

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it:

• Our service is hosted on Vercel and utilizes Vercel Web Analytics to collect anonymous usage data and improve our service.
• We use Hotjar to analyze user behavior and improve user experience. Note that your actual text input and content are never tracked or stored by Hotjar.
• We utilize OpenAI's services to analyze and process your text. By using Text2Note, you acknowledge that your text inputs may be processed through OpenAI's APIs.
• We do not store any user data or content on our cloud servers. All processing is done in real-time, and your information remains locally on your computer.
• The text you analyze using our service is processed in transit and is not permanently stored on our servers.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Intellectual Property

Content generated through our service belongs to you. Text2Note retains all rights to our software, algorithms, platform, and branding. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services without our permission.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse our services or help anyone else do so. This includes but is not limited to:

• Attempting to bypass any security features
• Using our service for illegal purposes
• Attempting to reverse engineer our algorithms
• Interfering with the proper operation of our service

7. Payment and Refund Policy

We offer subscription-based access to our service:

• All payments are processed securely through Polar.sh.
• We do not offer refunds for purchased subscriptions.
• We provide a trial period for you to evaluate our service before purchasing.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Polar.sh account settings, which will stop future billing but allow access until the end of your current billing period.

8. Limitation of Liability

Text2Note is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur as a result of using our service. In no event shall our liability exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.
